AI Video Translator with Voice Cloning and Lip Sync
Upload a video and choose a language. AI translates the speech, re-voices it with a clone of the speaker's voice and syncs the lips to the new language.
AI Video Translator Examples
Each pair shows the original video and the translated one. The voices are cloned from the original speakers and the lips are synced to the new language.
Two speakers, English to Chinese
A two-person conversation dubbed into Mandarin Chinese. Each speaker keeps a voice of their own and the mouths move with the new lines.
Talking-head vlog, English to Spanish
A food vlogger speaking to the camera, dubbed into Spanish with her own cloned voice and matching lip movement.
How to Translate a Video with AI
Three steps from the original video to a dubbed version in another language, for YouTube videos, ads, courses and social clips.
Step 1: Upload your video
Add an MP4 or MOV file up to 10 minutes long and 500MB. Videos with clear speech give the best results. The price appears as soon as the video is added.
Step 2: Choose the language
Pick the language to translate into. On Pro you can also pick a regional accent, set how closely the voice should match the original speaker, and list names that must stay as written.
Step 3: Translate and download
Click Translate. A 10-second clip is ready in about 3 minutes and longer videos take longer. The dubbed video lands in My Creations, ready to download.
AI Dubbing, Not Just Subtitles
Subtitle tools leave the original audio in place. This tool translates the video audio itself and replaces the speech with AI voice dubbing in the speaker's own voice.
Keeps the speaker's voice
Each speaker is re-voiced with a clone of their own voice, so viewers hear the same person speaking the new language instead of a stock narrator.
Lip-sync to the new language
Mouth movements are adjusted to match the translated speech, so the dub does not look out of step with the face on screen.
Background audio kept (Pro)
On Pro, music and ambient sound stay under the new dialogue, so the video still sounds like the original scene.
Several speakers in one video
Interviews, podcasts and conversations are handled speaker by speaker, with each person keeping a distinct voice.
86 to 94 languages
Translate video to English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic and more. Pro adds 14 regional accents such as Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and British English.
Names and terms stay right
List brand, product and people's names and they are recognized and kept as written instead of being translated or misheard.
AI Video Translator FAQ
Answers about translating and dubbing videos with AI.
An AI video translator turns the speech in a video into another language. This one does full AI dubbing: it transcribes the speech, translates it, voices it with a clone of each speaker's own voice and syncs the lips to the new audio, so you get a finished video in the new language rather than a subtitle file.
Upload the video, choose English as the target language and click Translate. The spoken language is detected automatically. On Pro you can choose an American, British, Australian or Canadian English accent.
Yes, for videos you own or have the rights to. Upload the video file (MP4 or MOV, up to 10 minutes), translate it, then upload the dubbed version to YouTube or add it as an extra audio track. YouTube page links cannot be pasted directly.
Subtitles add translated text on screen and keep the original audio. AI dubbing replaces the speech with a translated voice track, so viewers can listen instead of read. Here the dubbed voice is a clone of the original speaker and the lips are synced to it.
Yes. Each speaker's voice is cloned from the video and used for the translated speech. On Pro you can set the voice cloning strength from 0 to 10: higher keeps more of the original voice and accent, lower sounds more natural in the new language.
Yes. Video dubbing on both Standard and Pro adjusts the mouth movements to the translated speech, so you can dub a video without it looking out of sync. Results are best when faces are clearly visible and not too small in the frame.
Standard dubs into 86 languages and Pro into 94, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, Russian and Indonesian. Pro also offers 14 regional accents, for example Mexican, Argentinian or Castilian Spanish, Brazilian or European Portuguese, Canadian French and Taiwanese Mandarin.
Both clone the voice and sync the lips. Pro adds regional accents, a voice cloning strength control, better handling of videos with several speakers, and keeps background music and ambient sound under the new speech. Standard costs 22 credits per second and Pro 36.
Yes. Conversations, interviews and podcasts work, and each speaker gets a voice of their own. For videos with several speakers or background music, Pro gives the best results.
Add them under Names and terms, one per line or separated by commas. They help the speech recognition catch those words and the translation keep them exactly as written. Each term can be up to 5 words.
Videos can be up to 10 minutes long and 500MB, in MP4 or MOV. A 10-second clip takes about 3 minutes to translate and longer videos take longer. You can leave the page while it runs and find the result in My Creations.
You pay per second of the video you upload, rounded up to the next second: 22 credits per second on Standard and 36 on Pro. A 60-second video costs 1,320 credits on Standard or 2,160 on Pro. The exact price is shown on the Translate button before you start, and credits are refunded if the translation fails.
