This Privacy Policy explains how Veevid AI ("Veevid", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website at veevid.ai and the AI video, image, and audio generation services offered there (the "Service").

If you use the Veevid Chrome Extension, the Chrome Extension Privacy Policy also applies.

Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account or sign in, we collect:

• If you sign in with Google: your name, email address, and profile picture. We request only the basic openid, email, and profile permissions. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar, or any other Google data.
• If you sign up with email: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash).

Content you create

• Inputs: prompts, text, and files you upload (such as images, videos, or audio) to generate content.
• Outputs: the videos, images, and audio generated for you, along with the settings used.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We keep a record of your purchases, subscription status, and credit balance.

Usage and device information

• Pages you visit and features you use, collected through analytics tools.
• Device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and referring website.
• Cookies used to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure site usage. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Communications

If you contact us by email or through the chat widget on our site, we keep the messages you send us.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

• Create and manage your account and let you sign in.
• Generate the videos, images, and audio you request and show them in "My Creations".
• Process payments, manage subscriptions, and track your credits.
• Respond to support requests and send service-related emails (for example, receipts or account notices).
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• Understand how the Service is used so we can fix problems and improve it.

We do not sell your personal information.

How We Use Google User Data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information only to:

• create your Veevid account and sign you in;
• display your name and profile picture in your account; and
• contact you about your account, purchases, and important service updates.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train AI or machine learning models. We do not share Google user data with third parties except the service providers listed below that are needed to run the Service (such as our hosting and database providers), or when required by law.

Veevid's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, and only as needed for them to perform their work for us:

• AI model providers: your prompts and uploaded files are sent to the third-party AI model providers that run the model you choose, solely to generate your requested output. Your name and email address are not sent to them.
• Payment processing: Stripe.
• Hosting, storage, and security: Cloudflare (hosting, file storage, and bot protection) and our database provider.
• Email: Resend, to deliver account and service emails.
• Customer support: Crisp, for the chat widget on our site.
• Analytics: tools such as Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity, to understand site usage.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Veevid, our users, or others. If Veevid is involved in a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and this policy will continue to apply to it.

Data Retention

• Account information is kept while your account is active and deleted when you delete your account.
• Generated content is stored for up to 90 days, or removed earlier when you delete it from "My Creations".
• Uploaded files are kept only as long as needed to process your request and show your creation history.
• Payment records may be kept longer where required for tax, accounting, or legal purposes.

Your Choices and Rights

You can:

• Access and update your account information in your account settings.
• Delete your content at any time from "My Creations".
• Delete your account from Settings → Security. This removes your account and the personal information associated with it, except records we must keep by law.
• Revoke Google access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
• Manage cookies through your browser settings.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, or file a complaint with your local data protection authority. To make a request, email us at hello@veevid.ai.

Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and review our practices regularly.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process your information in countries other than your own. When we transfer data, we take steps to ensure it remains protected as described in this policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will notify you by email or through the Service.
