What Is the AI Zombie Trend?

The AI zombie trend is a short video format that took off on TikTok in October. One person has turned into a zombie. Their partner, best friend or family member raises a gun, tears up, then lets it fall and opens their arms. Just as the zombie leaps in, the video cuts to a sunny memory of the two of them, healthy and laughing.

It works because it is a tiny love story: fear for a second, then a zombie hug. Most versions are made from two ordinary photos, which is exactly what this generator needs. Pets work too, and the dog version is a favorite.

Shot 2 (2-5s): the woman slowly turns toward camera, pale grey skin, clouded white eyes, but clearly the same face, no blood, no gore. Shot 3 (5-7s): the man lowers the gun and lets it fall, closes their eyes and opens their arms wide. Shot 4 (7-8s): the woman runs and leaps toward them. Shot 5 (8-12s): hard cut mid-leap to warm golden-hour sunlight in a summer field, the woman looks normal and healthy, they catch each other and spin around, both laughing. Soft emotional piano score with ambient sound.

AI Zombie Video Generator FAQ

What to know before you make your first zombie video.

Two: one of the person or pet who becomes the zombie and one of the survivor. Use clear, front-facing photos with one subject in each, as JPG, PNG or WEBP files up to 10MB.

Yes. Choose Pet for photo 1 and the story switches to a pet version: matted grey fur and clouded eyes instead of grey skin, and the survivor kneels down to catch them. The breed, fur color and collar stay the same.

Most videos are ready in about 5 to 10 minutes. You can close the page while it renders and find the video in My Creations. Powered by Seedance 2.5.

It depends on resolution and length: 28 credits per second at 480p, 63 at 720p and 158 at 1080p. The default 12-second 480p video uses 336 credits, and a 12-second 720p video uses 756. Music doesn't change the price, and the exact number is shown on the Generate button before you start.

If a video fails to generate, the credits you spent on it are returned to your account automatically.

Only with their permission. Everyone in the photos must be an adult who agreed to be in the video, and you can't use photos of celebrities or public figures. You confirm this before each generation, and the photos are only used to make your video.
